Preferences: General

    1 Auto-Start on Launch

If checked, Say What will automatically start listening upon launch. We recommend using this on a machine which may be restarted remotely so you will be able to continue to use Say What on restart.

    2 Show Log on Launch

Determines whether the log will be shown or hidden on startup.

    3 Select Folder

Click on this button to select a new actions folder. By default, the actions folder is the folder called actions inside the Say What folder.

Preferences: Connection

    1 Allow Unlimited Access

If this is checked, then any IP address can access Say What. If this is unchecked, then only IP addresses listed in the Preferences -> Say What Access file can access Say What.

    2 TCP/IP Port

What TCP/IP port should Say What listen for connections on. The default is 1080 but can be anything which doesn't conflict with an existing web service. For security reasons, we suggest a port which is not use for a normal web service such as port 80.

Preferences: Log

1 Lines to Show On Screen

Tells Say What how many lines to display on screen. This is limited to a maximum of 200 lines, BUT everything is saved in the Preferences -> Say What LogFile file.
