Taco HTML Edit supports Code Coloring for the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP languages. For each of these languages, the coloring settings can be customized in the Preferences panel. By selecting the "Colors" section in Preferences, you can set the default text color, the selection color, and the background color and transparency. You can also restore the default coloring settings for all coloring preferences (including those for CSS, HTML, Javascript, and PHP).

To customize the preferences for a particular language, select the language from the "Language" drop down. For each language, you have the option of disabling coloring, in which case the default text color will be used. For HTML and CSS, you have the choice between two coloring styles:
Each language has a list of colors that can be customized. Have fun with the coloring options! Remember that you can always use the "Reset to Default Colors" button to restore the defaults.
